“And these signs shall follow”…..This is just a portion of the prophesy concerning signs that follow believers in Mark 16:17 and it quotes, “And these signs shall follow them that believe; in my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues.” Some people go about chasing the signs to one church or to another without recognizing the truth of the saying that signs follow the believer and the believer need not to go following after the signs.
That’s right, you as a believer will have signs following you. That’s the goal for all believers we should aim to keep growing in faith and experiences with God. See the signs as a part of the Faith that you have placed in Jesus Christ for the saving of your soul and the fulfillment of blessings coming with the Holy Ghost!
The sign of speaking in other tongues was not seen to have happen until Acts 2 on the day of Pentecost and after that time it occurred in seemingly strategic times. At Cornelius’ house in Acts 10 that was controversial to the Jewish believers. The idea of signs seems to only be seen with the Holy Ghost after it happened after this Pentecost. Put your faith to work believers and believe for more Holy Ghost experiences.
