A Hardened Heart

Oftentimes, we forget what God has done for us. When God doesn't answer us expediently we distant ourselves in studying, praying, praising, belief, and faith in Him. In fact, we don't acknowledge anything that he has ever done for us. We constantly say negative things contrary to the word of God. In our own righteousness, we begin to complain, murmur, bicker and try to work things out on our own, only to make a mess of things. God doesn't need our help in any of life's situations. God is a miraculous God and the Bible gives us accurate accounts of the miracles that he had performed.
Surely, our problems didn't caught him off guard. We need to repent and ask God for forgiveness and recognize that he is the only one who can turn negative situations into positive ones. No matter how things look don't doubt the power of God, trust God in every area of your lives even when situations seems like there is no hope and God can't fix it. Take the limits off of God and trust him enough to do the miraculous in your situation.
Consider Mark 6:51-52 Jesus ceased the wind; they were amazed beyond measure, and wondered. Previously, they witnessed his miraculous feeding of five thousand with two fish and five loaves of bread, how soon did they forget what he had done. Much like us, we forget what God has done for us. Take the promises of God pray his scriptures back to him and you will be amazed of how your situation will begin to change, working in your favor. Let God be God!
Signs of a hardened heart: -panic in the time of trouble
-frustration & failure (trying to work things out on your own)
-failure in considering the blessings of God (what He has already done for us)
-failure to give God attention (ceased praying, studying, believing and praising)
Remedy -recognize that your heart isn't right, you have a problem, spend time with Him daily, meditate on the blessings of God in your life & thank Him for what He has already done and doing in your life/situation.

Things you Must do to Push Forward

Exodus 14:15-16 God instructed Moses on what to do in order for the children of Israel to walk on dry land and Moses was obedient. We as believers must be like-wise.  We must forgive one another, don't carry your ills around with you. Find a way to let go of the past and be fruitful in 2013.  Let go of past wounds, heartaches, family dramas, and disappointments. We have to forgive in order for God to forgive us; put on the "new man" and walk in the spirit of love, kindness, humbleness of mind and live peaceably with all men.  Only God can repay a person for the evil things that they have done.  Don't seek revenge! He that doeth wrong shall receive for the wrong which he hath done: and there is no respect of persons (Colossians 3:25).

“Lord, Bless My Pot: Get Ready For an Increase”
2 Kings 4:38-44
When the prophet Elisha came to Gilgal there was a dearth in the land, as his sons were sitting with him. Elisha instructed the servants to get a great pot and seethe for pottage as the servants was gathering herbs for the pot among the herbs was a wild gourd shred into the pot. As the men begin to eat they cried out and said, O thou man of God, there is death in the pot. The prophet Elisha requests some meal and he casted it into the pot and the pottage was poured out for the people to eat.
We must constantly remind ourselves of whose we are, keeping in mind that we are not just anyone we are heirs to the King of Kings members of a Royal Priesthood, and the Blessings of God is life. We are selected by God and we are unique in his sight. Always strengthen our inner man by reminding oneself whose we are. While we were yet sinners Jesus died that we would have his love and grace upon us.
Believing Paul as he spoke in Roman 8:35: “Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword”. God has transformed us from the world of darkness into the kingdom of the highest, He who has an abundant supply system.
The tribe of Issachar is an awesome example for us to adhere to, they were knowledgeable of the signs of the times and the seasons, we should always have a place in our heart for his people; who is forever blessing us; He is able to bless your pot, expect an increase always putting God first.

My Personal Victory
Romans 16: 20
There is going to be a point and time where you'll be in a position to bruise the one who is causing hindrances in your life. His name is Satan, The God of peace will bruise Satan under your feet (that's a promise). Reintroduced to the one who is intimidating you, let him know you have "power". We need to research and recognize in every battle their is a promise.
As in the day of Jehsohaphat 2 Chronicles 20 God was merely saying "do not be afraid or be discouraged because of the armies size " for the battle is not yours, it belong to the me".
We are no different, the same God who fought biblical battles and destroyed kingdoms is the same God who will fight for us, he change not. The very one attacking you, God will give you power to destroy, bruise, and crush. God has a plan and purpose for your life, and He will not let you be utterly defeated. Wait on the Lord and be of good courage.

Wait on Your Season Psalm 81:10 I am the Lord your God, Who brought you out of the land of Egypt; Open your mouth wide, and I will fill it. God in his awesome way was reminding the children of Israel of where he had brought them from. Our expectations should be large reflecting on the bases of what God has already done. (1). Keep pushing and pressing, God is bringing us into new territories. (2). God can and will work out any situation, even when we do not see him at work, He has a season for working in our lives. John 5:4 For an Angel went down at a certain time into the pool and stirred up the water; whoever stepped in first, after the stirring, was made well of whatever disease he had. Like the man at the pool he waited in faith believing his situation would get better. God is telling us to open our mouth wide and he will fill it. "I am the Lord your God."

Ps. 81:10 & 2 Kgs. 4:11-17 Have a Very Large Expectation In regards to the Israelites When God brought them out of Egypt: he said open thy mouth wide, and I will fill it. He's not talking about physical food; if they would open their mouth he will not bring them to a low point of expectation. Take the Shunammite woman she didn't open her mouth and convey her wants to God. Elisha the prophet filled her mouth through the prophecy and revelation given to him by God. He influenced her through the absence of her words; he spoke the words that she could not utter yet, she didn't know the depths of his anointing. When we are stuck between a rock and a hard place we are to open our mouth wide and call on the name of Jesus. Having the same spirit as God according to our faith we should be able to speak things into existence. Calling those things which be not as though they were. Wait. relax, and watch God perform.

Prayer....Your Key to Life....

To Love God is the most sensible thing to do…to not love Him is just crazy! The need to pray is more than just a feeling, it's a must and even a command! Command yourself to pray! God's waiting! Now, have you prayed today yet? Stop and do it now, everything will get better when you do!
